Calmbirth® Classes

Calmbirth® is a series of 5 classes (2.5 hours each) and may be held over a weekend or over 4 or 5 evenings. Classes include a Calmbirth® Guide; 2 Calmbirth® Breathing and Relaxation CDs; and follow up support. Classes are held monthly.

Payment Policy: Deposit $50 required to confirm booking. Classes open to all - flexible payment options available.

Doula Support

Full Birth Doula support service includes:

Pregnancy

·         At least 4 visits of approximately two hours each in your home  (flexible arrangements)

·         Calmbirth®  Education classes (optional)

·         On call support

·         Pregnancy information and support

·         Discussion of birth options and birth planning

·         Relaxation and breathing techniques

·         Access to birthing resources (books/DVDs/Networks)

Labour

·         Support in your home or hospital, from time required until after birth

·         Physical support including massage, relaxation and breathing, and positioning

·         Emotional support

·         Calm and confidence in mums and their partners

·         Support to partners (information, options and emotional support)

Post natal

·         Minimum of two post natal visits

·         Breastfeeding support and support for new parents

·         Baby care

·         Labour and birth debrief

Doula Fees

Full Doula Support $1000
Full Doula Support and Calmbirth® Classes $1350
Full Doula Support and Personal Breathwork- release fear/negative beliefs/emotional blocks - empowering your 'self' for birth $1300

Individual two hour sessions: $130
Birth only support (includes one pre-natal visit): $600

Please Contact Me for appointments. I encourage you to meet with me prior to deciding on whether to go ahead with the Doula service. Please note that due to the nature of the care, bookings are limited, and early bookings are encouraged, in order for you to get the most out of the support available to you.

Conscious Parenting

Conscious birthing and parenting is one of the most important gifts we can give to ourselves and our families. These one day workshops cover the very basics of conscious parenting (how we learn to parent); understanding your beliefs around birth and parenting and how this influences you and your choices now; and practical techniques and support for conscious parenting (including baby needs and care).
